Elopements are a fun way to celebrate outside-of-the-box, and can include just the two of you, or all of your loved ones!

Whether you’re lacing up hiking boots, or stepping into the sand, I’ll be there every step of the way with location scouting, timeline planning, vendor referrals, and expert tips to make your elopement an unforgettable experience.

FAQs

How does travel work with elopements?

Travel expenses would be added to your total invoice. I do my best to find the most affordable airfare and accommodations, and won’t book anything without your ok! If your location is within driving distance, I would use the current IRS mileage reimbursement rates, and add that to your total invoice.

When is the best time to elope?

That totally depends on your location, and the experience you’re wanting! For mountain areas, I would recommend late spring-late summer (unless you’re wanting a snowy, winter wedding!). For warmer climates like Cabo, you have more year-round options, and can base your decision on your own calendars, travel fees, etc.

How many hours should we book for an elopement?

If you’re wanting an adventure elopement of hiking and walking to your ceremony site, I would suggest at least 4 hours of photography coverage. This is something we can talk about in your pre-booking call, and based on the experience you’re wanting, I will recommend an elopement collection that’s perfect for you!

Will we need permits?

National Parks, as well as some state parks, require permits for photography and wedding ceremonies. This is something I will help with in our planning process together!
